The Visiting Committee played an active role in the life of the Centre and met on 12
occasions during the course of the year under the Chairmanship of Mr. Thomas Gregan. Mr Gregan as chairman attended Chairperson meetings in various other prisons throughout the year. Members were facilitated in regard to their meetings and regular visits. No offenders made requests to see the Visiting Committee during the course of the year. There are only 4 Members on the committee and we need a minimum of 3 members to form a quorum. The chairman has requested more members for the committee.
