Over 3,000 people are due to attend the citizenship ceremonies scheduled for tomorrow, Monday 16 October, at the Dublin Convention Centre.

The Department of Justice and Equality requests that people planning to come from any of the counties expected to be most severely affected, or who otherwise have any concern for their safety in travelling, do not travel to Dublin.  Arrangements will be made to hold a new ceremony before the year end anyone who is unable to attend tomorrow will be facilitated with a new ceremony date.
