Deputy Clare Daly asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality, further to Parliamentary Question No. 44 of 19 January 2017, if she will clarify that when she states that the experts appointed under section 47 are required to act in accordance with the standards and codes of conduct of their professional bodies, there may be cases whereby a non-accredited psychotherapist compiling a section 47 report is not required to abide by any standards or code of conduct in compiling that report, thus creating a major accountability gap in a very sensitive area of family law.
