The Minister of State for Civil and Criminal Justice, Hildegarde Naughton TD, has welcomed the start of public consultations on developing a new national strategy on Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence (DSGBV). The third national strategy will place an emphasis on prevention and reduction, and is to be agreed by Government before the end of 2021.
Consultants have been recruited to help draft the new strategy, and are working on a number of different elements including coordinating public input into the new strategy. As part of this work, public consultations on the third national strategy on DSGBV have begun.
