The Public Appointments Service, on 12 June 2017, placed a vacancy notice on www.stateboards.ie advertising five vacancies on the Board of the Private Security Authority an agency within this Department's remit. 

 

The Private Security Authority, established under the Private Security Services Act 2004, as amended, is the regulatory body with responsibility for regulating and licensing the private security industry in the State.  The Private Security Authority is independent in its role and functions.
