Answer

Minister for Justice and Equality (Deputy Charles Flanagan): The Department of Justice and Equality has an operating Irish Language Scheme under Section 11 of the Official Languages Act 2003. The Scheme, which was confirmed by the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, commenced with effect from 30 June 2006.
