Minister for Justice (Deputy Helen McEntee): The visa application for the person referred to by the Deputy was created online on 4 July 2020. A decision on the application will issue once the current Covid-19 travel restrictions have been lifted.
By notice dated 29 January 2021, on the Immigration Service website, applications which were received prior to that date will continue to be processed. However, unless the application meets the Emergency or Priority criteria, a visa or preclearance approval letter will not issue until such time as the Covid-19 travel restrictions have been lifted.
