Answer

Minister for Justice (Deputy Helen McEntee): Under the provisions of the Courts Service Act 1998, management of the courts is the responsibility of the Courts Service which is independent in its functions. However, in order to be of assistance to the Deputy, I have had enquiries made regarding court hearings.
The Courts Service has informed me that they are compiling the requested data. However, it is not possible for the Courts Service to compile the information within the time available. I will forward the information to the Deputy directly as soon as it is received from the Courts Service.
