Traveller and Roma Pride Week 2018 Funding

Mr David Stanton, TD., Minister of State with special responsibility for Equality, Immigration and Integration at the Department of Justice and Equality, has today announced that applications can now be made to the Equality Division for funding for events to participate and celebrate in Traveller and Roma Pride Week 2018.
As part of its remit, the Equality Division endeavours to promote positive communications in relation to the Traveller and Roma Communities. This call is for proposals for funding to host events promoting Traveller and Roma Pride Week with national events to take place in the week commencing 28th May and local events taking place in the week commencing 4 June 2018.
Announcing this fund, the Minister stated:
"It is fantastic to be able to provide funding for Traveller and Roma Pride Week again in 2018. Be proud of your membership of the communities and I hope to see lots of great events all around the country promoting the inclusion of Traveller and Roma communities."
Funding of up to €2,000 is available to and open to applicants operating at national, regional and local level to community-based groups.
Applications for funding will be granted for activities satisfying the following criteria:
Applications must be made on the Funding Application Form which should be emailed to ntris@justice.ie before 12 noon on 4 May 2018.
